SUBMARINE PANIC IN THE BALTIC

Owing to the activity of the British and Russian submarines in tho Cattegnt and the Baltic, tho German torjicdo Soiilla has been considerably reinforced south of the Sound. A large squadron has proceeded northward to try to expel the British submarines. German sailors report that tho Russian submarine 5179, wtiicih torpedoed threo German steamers, is very large, carrying three guns like tho German 8.8 centimetre gun.
