" ALLIES' FIGHT IS AMERICA'S" By Telegraph—Press Association-Copyright New York, May 21. Under the auspices of the American Eight Committee, a crowded meeting was held in the Carnegie Hall to commemorate the Lusitania tragedy. Tho speakers, who included Mr. Putnam, the publisher, summoned America to join tho Allies, whose fight was America's fight. The meeting passed a resolution declaring that the time had come to support tho Allies' fight for democracy and civilisation.
