Thtj Royal Commission on .harbour matters completed its Foxton sitting at noon to-day, : Only evidence regarding the wharf was taken. ■ Mr. M'Villy gave evj. dence o£ n statistical nature on behalf of the Eailway Department. Other witnesses were Messrs. P. Hennessy. (chairman of. the board), S- Jickell and C. H. Hownrth (engineers), A. J. ICsllow (Levin and' Co.), 1 ? . Lawtoir (pilot), and G. 11. Stiles (ex-Mayor and ex-chairman of the board).
Tho sittings will ■be resumed at Palmerston on Tuesday.
