• AMALGAMATION • SCHEME. . Messrs. Gibbs, Bright, and Company, Melbourne agents, have received from the licad office of the Sulphide Corporation, Limited. London, the following cable message, dated May 19:— • : ' ' V "Meetings-of shareholders of the Sulphide and . Central. Zinc Corporations to-day unanimously pasced resolutions for amalgamation. "The Central Zine, shareholders rcccivc one Sulphide preference arid, one Sulnhide ordinary: ehare, ranking'for divid-snds on the current, financial-year, for each three shares, together with one shilling, per share, cash and one shilling less income tax guaranteed interest for the year ended March 31 -last, fractions being settled in cash at 205., per. share. plus guaranteed, interest. "'l'he necessary increase of Sulphide .capital by fifty thousand preference and fifty thousand: ordinary shares approved by the Treasury -were passed. Confirmatory meetings of both; companies . will be held on June 3." ■ i
