FEATHERSTON ROLL OF HONOUR

—-+-"T A patriotic smoke concert, promoted by tho Allied Sports Clubs of tile township, and tendered in honour of Featherstonians who hava "played the gameT on the field of battle, and departing comrades under irms, was held in the Masonic Hall on Friday night. There was a' large attendance, and the proceedings were most enjoyable. Captain Neville Newcombe, Camp Adjutant, represented the staff of the Military Camp, Lieut.-Colonel Adams being unable to attend owing to pressure of work. Amongst the guests were: Mr. J. T. M. Hornsby, M.P., and Mr. Dj Hebcnton, secretary of tho .Wairaraja Patriots Society. Mr. A. J. Toogoocf presided, and Mr. A. C. Holms -acted as organiser for the' function.

The following roll of honour for the Featherston Town District has been.compiled:— . .
