BROOKLYN HARRIERS

On Saturday the. weekly run was held from Bellevue Gardens, Lower Hutt. The pack, numbering twelve,\ under the captain (I\ Ilarleu),- followed a trail laid by C. Dentice. and;. C. Cummins, over country,, towards .the sea; skirted tlm Hutt lljfoatl to the hills, and back to the starting point, taking in all ditches and fences en route. A handicap run-in was held over tho last 100. yards, and resulted in J. Collins being first, with Naden second, and C. A. Wilks third. Th» Harriers afterwards entertained their lady friends, at afternoon tpa, at which Mr. G. Bristow, vice-president, made a short address. Next Saturday the club will hold their novice handicap of two miles from the Post Office Store, Miramar.
