The anniversary -of-the franco-Russian Alliance was celebrated by a banquet. 11. llodzinnko (President of; tho Duma)', presided over a distinguished assemblage, which included M. Sazanoff (Russian Foreign Minister), M. Stunner (Russian Premier), M. Vivinni (French Minister for' the Interioi), and. AX. Thomas (French Minister for Munitions). • ,M. Rodzianko said that the Alliance by blood had been cemented. They were more than ever determined to continue this monstrous war until evil had been crushed, and "ight and truth had triumphed. M. Sazanoff said that the Allies were confident in tho final issue, and that Kuropo would-bo freed from the most odious yoke she had ever scon.
