The president of the Kelbnrn Bowling Club entertained members at the Pavilion on Thursday evening. The first portion of the. evening was devoted to progressive euchre, the prize for the winner of the greatest number of games'*, falling to Mr. A. Johnston. At the supper later 'three toasts were proposed—"The King," "Absent s[embcrs on Active Service at the Front," and "The President." The entertainment proved most and members ■ expressed a hope that it may .be the forerunner of maiiy more of sv similar character during the winter recess. >
