(Messrs Moll sop, Eliott, and Co., Palmerston North! local agents) report on the frozen meat market under date London, March 24 cs follows:— Home-grown meat has firmed up with shorter supplies, and to-day's prices were extreme. Of the etpplies on Smit-hfleld, 46 per cent, was Brit-ish-brcd. Frozen: There has been no relief to the position, and colonial mutton and lamb has been advanced l , ono--'. farthing, while South American Is about sd. to 3-Bd. dearer Agents' handling colonial meat, however' OJ-0 not taking advantage of the position by, forcing prices, but endeavour /to steady prices as much ao possible in order to prevent their being dearer still.
