— 9 ' SUMMARY AND FORECAST I AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications, are for strong south to south-easterly winds, co\d, and showery in the north and East Coast districts, particularly o£ the North Island. The barometor is unsteady, with a rising tendency. A small, but intense westerly disturbance passed in the south during the night-, and strong northerly winds changed by west to south. The weather was stormy in the soulh during the night, l and conditions havo been cloudy, unsettled, and showery to-day in many parts of the Dominion. 1). C. BATES.
