. * __ , ■ ALCOCK BILLIARD DINER TOURNAMENT. The first four games in 'the second round of this event was played last evening, before a good attendance of enthusiasts. The results were:—A group: W. Frasor, oive 75, beat Magnus, ree. 75; J. Hart, by default. B. group: S. Henipton, rcc. 100, beat E. Bncholz, rec. 75; 1\ K. Porteous, rec. 50, beat >'. W. Watkins, rec. 75. The game between Fraser and Magnus was one of tlie best seen in the tournament so far, and although the loser played well, Eraser's form was too good, and ho eventually ran out a winner by a fair'margin, '
To-night F. Laws plays J. M. Carr; J. Stevens plays G. Gotlieb; J. M'lntosh plays G. Pulton; and G. Player plays G. Bradley.
