Concerning his experiences on tLat tour, Mr. Cowper writes :- "Just a few lines to tell you how thoM ou«hly satisfied I am with my Studew ba£er car. As .you know, I took it away with me to the North Island, and went in all about 1200 miles, over all the big hills up in the north. Going from Weilington through to Napier over the Rimutakaa, across to Palnierston, Wanganui, Mid New Plymouth, and back to .Wellington over the famous Paekakanki .Hill, the car took nil the big hills with the greatest ease, and did not give mo the (lightest anxiety. All that distance It was not touched by anyone save to give it petrol and oil, and we did not even hava to put wind into the tyres. You will be surprised to hear that I brought the cai over the Zig-zag from Lyttelbn to Sumner, which says something to? the cai and' the way you taught me to drive." The Studebaker driven by Mr. Cowpei was, of course, equipped with olectrio and electric lights. The new 1916 model Studehakers will be to hand shortly, a first shipment being expected next week.
