SATURDAY'S LIST. Mr D. G. A. Cooper, S.M., presided-at Saturdays sitting of the Magistrate's Court. A sentence of a month's imprisonment uas imposed on Susan M'laughlin, who was convicted of loitering and importuning. Prink Manning was remanded on hail until Wednesday next on n charge of stealing postal notes to the value of ■£&. Isidor Mount, for whom Mr. M'Grath appeared, was charged with indecently assaulting a male. • He was remanded until Wednesday next, bail being allowed in tho sum of m and two sureties of *cb each. . , For being drunk while in charge of a vehicle, drawn by torses, Michael Francis Camck was fined 10s„ in default to undergo■ Seven days' imprisonment. Penalties for drunkenness were also imposed on Erjc Norman M'Alinclen (lined £2) and iNorah Nugent (lined £1), the alternative being seven days' imprisonment m the former case and three days imprisonment in the latter. Haley against the Canterbury (steamship Co., Ltd., for compensation for injuries alleged to have beon sustained while working on the steamship Culm. Mr. P. J.
