HIGH COMMISSIONER'S REPORT. The High Commissioner reports:— London, May 13, 12.55 p.m. Petrograd official.—"After a strong artillery fire tho Germans attacked a sector of the Jacobstadt region, north of St. Selburg; south-west of Lake Medmus they also unsuccessfully assumed the offensive. "At many other sectors in tho Jacobstadt-Dvinsk region tho enemy opened a lively artillery fire. "Our artillery dispersed in many places the enemy's workmen who were engaged in fortifying the defences in the region of the Kolki village, near Oleksilie'ts. The eneui/s attempts to approach our trenches wero repulsed."
