A telegram from Napier last evening slated that tho steamer Warrimoo, which had a largo cargo to discharge at that port, put to sea. -unexpectedly early yesterday morning on account of the very heavy weather. The telegram stated that t.he 6hip's destination was probably Auckland. From tho West Ooa.st end Nelson the Takapuna (which lias taken over the Mapourika's running) is due to arrive here about noon to-day. • She will leave again on Tuesday evening at 5 o'clock for Picton, Nelson and the ooast. Departure of tho Hlmltengi for Chatham Islands did not take placo last evening as was anticipated, and It is expected to dispatch her for the southern island ; this morning. . The wet weather, considerably hampered the discharging operations of the Ngahere yesterday, and it is now cxpeoted that she will not get away for Gi'eymouth until this evening.

The Ngatoro was delayed at Gisborne by the weather, and she will not, he hero: until probably to-moiTow evening. She will get away for Wangawii and New Plymouth oil Monday afternoon.
