In Wellington there are six men waiting tor employment oi a lignt character. Vlie .following are tlie otner'details of Ills Department's report:— 1. Reports received irom interviewing officers, 28128; reports in hands of interviewing officers, 260; total reports issued,-31U8. particulars showing how cases deait with:—(A) Cases disposed of—(a) Left' New Zealand or cannot ascertain address, 92; (.I); re-enlisted or returned to military duty or have work to return to, etc., 101'); (c) men who have signed "assistance not required," 5(il; (tlj men placed ili employment, 431,- (e) men who have not responded to • repeated communications, and men who have accepted work iouml for them, but .failed to start work, CO. .
