WHEAT AND OATS
The monthly abstract of statistics issued yesterday states that the return of actual threshings received to ' date (April 14) .from tlireshing-mill owners show that during the mouths of January, February, and March 4,C3:),33i bushels of wheat and 3,323,8(U bushels of oats wero threshed out.. The average yield per acre in cases where particulars of areas were furriishe<l work out at 20.81 bushels for wheat and 33.G6 bushels ; for : oats. If, the averago yield of wheat l shown above (20.84 bushels) be applied over the whole-Dominion, •the total yield of. wheat for the season would appear.'to be nearly seven million bushels, or somewhat in excess, of, last 'season's total. ' '
