The Nationalists oppose'd.- Mr. John Redmond declared that he had done hia best for recruiting, and all parts of Ire. land had done well. He felt convinced,' in view of recent -.events,, that it would be unwise—be possibly insane—to ■ apply conscription to Ireland.'~He besought the House not to consent to the motion, which' was negatived without. division. MOTIONS TO ALTER'AGE LIMIT. (Rec. May 11, 1 a.m.) London, May 10. The House of Commons rejected various amendments to alter the age limits. The Army Council is convinced that a call on those from 18 to 41 years of.age will give the men required-. ~.■■/
