ACCOUNTANT STUDENTS' SOCIETY
Tho keen interest taken in accountancy matters by the members of the AVelling ton Accountant Students'' Society was demonstrated by the successful meeting which took place last evenin-r at the societys roonis, Johnston Street. The evening was devoted to a discussion on the qucs-tioiis relating to bookkeeping set i\t tho November examinations of tho University.. A modal set of answers had been prepared by Messrs. .1. L. Amis vß"vf-' alld l '- A - (,c BaMlay. l'.l.A.iV/., and the various knotty points were threshed out in the discussion which took place on the various (|iicstions. At th'-s conclusion of the meeting a hearty vot-? of thanks was accorded to Messrs. Areii.? and Barclay. The next meeting of {lie society will take place on May 24, when a lecture «-ill be delivered by itr. D. S. Smilh, L.L.M., on "The Transfer of Personal Property.
