THE CLAN MACFADYEN'S FIGHT By Telesranh—PreES Association—Courriaht (Rec. May 6. 10.30 p.m.) London, May 5. The Clan Macfadyen encountered two submarines in the Bay of Biscay. The first fired sixty shells at a range of fifty yards, hitting the Clan Macfadyen several times, but not seriously. Tho liner, which is armed with' a big gun, replied, and several shots hit the submarine, which it is believed sank. A second submarine three, hours later fired a torpedo, missing the liner by a few feet.
