WHAT A CHRISTOHURCH DENTIS* SATS ABOUT HISSTUDEBAKER.
We have made Wg claims for the Stude-baki-r'car on the score of its reliability, its simpWES-v, and tho ease with which it can bo driven. The following letter, addressed to us by Mr H. Cowper, sureepndentist, of this city, demonstrates the kind of service the Studebak*: vi\\ give in the hands of an owner who n(C had comparatively little driving expenenc Mr, Cowper purohased a Studebaker car frK-x us on November ,30th last, and his first lenffthy tour was ono in the Aorta Island during tho recent Christmas and Nevf Year holidays. Concerning his experiences on-tLal tour. Mr.' Cowper writes:-: •'Just a few lines to tell .you how thorou"hly satisfied I ™ wl .? h . my Stude-hnt-er car. As von know, i took it away wthnie to th/ North Island, and went in all about 1200 miles, over all the big hills up in the north. . Going from Wellington through to .Napier over the Kimutakas, across to Palmerston, ftnd New Plymouth, and back to Wdhneton ovor the famous Paekakanki Hill, ! the car took all the big "hills with the neatest ease, and did not give mo the slightest anxiety. All that distance it was not touched by anyone save to give it nerrol and oil, and wo did not even have to put wind into tho tyres. Yon will be surprised to hear that ! brought the cat over the Zig-zag from J.yttelUn to Sumner, which says something te tho car and the way you taught mo to drive."The Studebaker driven hy Mr. Cowper was, of course, cquipwd with electrio and electric iixhta. The new I9IC model Studebakers will be to hand shortly, a first shipment being expected next week. The prices of the new models are;—2s h.p. five-seater (including electrio self-starter, cleotric lights, and full road equipment), 33345; 25 h.p. , three-seater' (samo equipment), They sre even better than the 1915 model, which has given such magnificent satisfaction to aU purchasers.
