The Star of Wellington. Lodge, No. 12, l.C'.U.'i., neurits weekly session m bi. I'oter's Mission Hail, iaru-iiaki Street, last 'xiiursclay evening, tiro. Rigarlslord, Unci' 'Templar, presiding. Reports on the past, quarter were given, oi the secretary, Finance Committee, iuiancial secretary, treasurer, tho superintendent ot juvenile work, and the registrar. Tiieso reports showed tno licdge to be in.a, very favourable condition, tnere being nn increase in membership, and an increase financially on that oi the previous, quarter. ' 'i'liu superiiitondeui; vi juvenile work reported that the Rising Star Temple was piogressing very faiourably. Tho reports were adopted. Bro. M'yse, Lodge lJeputy, installed the now Sentinel, Marshal, and Deputy-Marshal, in their vuspective positions. Tho following were ulioscn ior cue Harmony Committee for *bu present quarter: —tiros. Wyse, Ingram, C. Collins, and Sisters Eigarlsford, tc-ii., and Frasor. Among tho visitors •if tne evening were: bio'.er.s Mesdamcs Claugliton anil Davidson, from tha iiifo Boat Light Lodge, No. 101, J..0.G.T., of Timarn. Sister Ulaughton conveyed to .the Lodge the greetings from her Lodge, >u;d also from tho South Canterbury District Lodge, iSo. B. Tho greetings >.cre reciprocated. The Rising Star Juveuilo Temple, No. °~ 1.0. G.T., met again last. Thursday evening, Sisters Mrs. A. E. Roberts, tho superintendent, presiding. The various items given by tho following members were much appreciated by all-rßro. F. I'etherick, recitation; Bro. A. Haley, songs; Sisters (J. Duncan, P. Adams, Leah.Roberts, B. M'Millan, and D. ouch a recitation, and Sisters D. Roberts, N. Pcthenck, L. Osborne, and D. M'Millan, each a song; and also some choruses, sung by tho "Chorus Boys." Sisters Mrs. Claughton and Davidson, visitors from the Lifeboat Light Lodge, of Timaru, were each accorded a hearty welcomo by tho members. Sister Mrs. Claughton, in responding to tho welcome, conveyed the greetings of the Bud of Promise Juvenile Temple, of Timaru, and also gave tho members some splendid advice on the subject of temperance. Tho greetings were reciprocated.
