RAID BY THE POLICE
ON CHINESE RESTAURANT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, May 5. A Chinese restaurant was raided by police this afternoon, 24 Chiliamen being arrested. It is alleged that fan tan and pak-a-poo were in full swing when the police entered. All tho occupants submitted quiotly to arrest, and the gaming paraphernalia and a substantial 6um of money wore secured.
