Three more games in tho Alcock billiard diner tournament ivero contested last night, tho results being, as follow:—Green (rec. 25) beat Porteous (rec. 50), Barker (rec. 75) beat Bnckolz (iw. 60), Woldie (rec. 75) beat. Porter (owes 10). Stavens tvoh by default. The play was not of as high' an order as on the first night, still it was fairly consistent. The best breaks wore: Pointer, 36, 30, 22; Green, 26; Bucholz, 26; Barker, 21. : To-niglit play is expected to_ be of special-merit, as several of Wellington's best cueists are drawn against "one another,' the fixtures for this evening being: Carr versus Mills, Brown versus Tucker, Dimook versus' Fulton-, Player versus Goilieb. The contests start at 7.30 p.m., and take place in Messrs. Alcock's showroom, -Featherston Street.
