OVERSEA ROUTE CHANGED
IMPORTANT INNOVATION. By Telegraph—PreßS Association. Gliristohurch, May 3. An important innovation has been decided upon by the New Zealand Shipping Company. The route to and from fcfiis country and England is to be changed from via Capo 'Town to via Panama Canal. Tho Rotorua. will bo the first boat from 'Home to uso the Canal, and tho Romuera tho iirst vessel to return to England by tho new waterway.
