LIMITED COMPETITIONS. Mr. D. D. Weir presided at last night's meeting of the Management Committee of the Wellington R.ughy Union, and also present were: Messrs. \V. T<\ Hornig. A. C. Kitto. H. Buck. W. Rountrpc. D. Madden, J. N. Millard, and W. li. Donovan. It was resolved: "That no single man eligible for military service he permitted to' play in our competitions this se?,jwn."' On the motion of the chairman it was decided that the reason's pmnetitions be confined to the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth grades', the opening day's play to he on Saturday..May 20. Sub-committees for the season were eh-cted *\s follow:—l'ostnmioment, Messrs. Weir, 'Hornig. and Kitto: transfers, Me?.vrs. Madden and Buck .ind the secretary; dmwing, Messrs. Vv'oir. Honiie, and Millard; grounds, Messrs. ' Donovan, Buck, Roni)tree, Weir, and Hornig; insurance, Messrs. TTopii". Howe, and Madden; advertising Messrs. Hornig, Howe, and Kitto; third-class, the whole committee; fourth-class. Messrs. Ruck and Horni": fifth-class. Messrs. Donovan and !-Mil|nrd; sixth-class, Messrs. RounLrce and Kitto.
