EaSSADHTON OF TR3 SPY. By 'X'oJccraph-ProES Association-Copyright Washington, May 1. The Supremo Court lias ordered the extradition of Ignatius Trebitch Lincoln to England on a forgery charge. [Since his escape from custody; Lincoln (self-styled spy and alleged forger, who had been held in custody pending extradition ; .proceedings, and Who escaped in January last) had not been able to abstain from his craving for cheap notoriety, both for himself and his- book, "Revelations of an International Spy." He wroto many letters to tho newspapers here, in which ho boast ed of his ability •to elude the "foolish police," threatened to blow up munition plants, and stir up rebellion in India. The sales of Lincoln's book increased proportionately, and a friend who had been lodging with Lincoln demanded £50 as the price of his silence. Lincoln refused, but on the night of February 19 lie made : an appointment with the friend to; talk the matter over. The police were notified, and the recapture was easily offected. The prisoner mocked and jeered at his captors, and when asked why he held the American police force in such "contempt, ho said, "It's good advertising for my book." Lincoln did not take the trouble to disguise himself except to shave his moustache, and was easily identified. He was standing at the corner of Broadway and Thirtieth Street when three United States Secret Service policemen suddenly levelled revolvers at his breast, and demanded his surrender.]
