Conference. Mr. T. M. Wilford, M.Pii will presided as chairman "of the society, and the speakers will be: Sir Robert Stout, the Prime Minister, (Right-Hon: W. E: Massey), Sir Joseph Ward, Captain D. 'Simsoa, a*id Capteln TV. Hardham. V.C. There will only be two toasts.:.; The first will bo "Our Empire's. Cause," :to be:'proposed by Sir Robert Stout and responded to by the ■Prime Minister and Sir- Joseph Ward, and : "Our, Guests," to be proposed by the chairman and responded to by Cap. tains Donald ,Simson ! and Hardham. The kind offer of rMr; Walter Fuller to provide the artists free of charge for the entertainment ] of the soldiers betweon the toasts has been accepted, and tho society: expresses, its gratitude to Mr. Puller and the artists who are to perform.'' . . The waiting at the tables will be done 'by -a'-number of ladies who have volunteered,' including twelve members of the Red Cross.
