MUNICIPAL GOLF LINKS
The Wellington Municipal golf links were very popular and extensively patronised by the general public during tho Easier holidays. The small fee of sixpence per round, with clubs for hire at the same price, is inducing large numbers of the public to take the game up. Members of Fullers' Vaudeville Company have been enjoying the game on the links during the past week. On AVednesday of last week Miss Dulcie Milner won a competition with 42, bogey for tho course being 40.. The Ladies' Anzac Golf Club, which lias its home en the links,, is steadily increasing, in numbers. A competition played oiii Easter Monday was won by Mrs. R. A. Cameron, with a scoro of 61. On Saturday last the Wellington Municipal Golf Club played their monthly button competition with the following result: —W. Whithoad, 40;. A. J. Cameron, 45; J. T. Bowness, 47; J. M'lntosh, 48; A. Rogers, 54.
