HAAVKE'S BAY CONTRIBUTIONS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Bastings, April 24. _ Staff-Captain Sharp collected £1270 in the AVaipawa district last week for Commissioner Hodder's Homes in New Zealand for children who have been made orphans by the war. This brings the Hawke's Bay contributions to £3494, exclusive of Napier, which lias yet to be canvassed. The AVaipawa total includes £500 from Mr. Paul Hunter, which meets the cost of a ward ill one home. ,
