LOVER DESERTER
GIEiL SENT TO GAOL FOE AIDING FIANCE.
For aiding and assisting Private Joliu "iiy, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment, a deserter, Mary Edith Maguirc, to whom he was engaged, was sentenced t(* seven days' imprisonment recently.
