Good Friday and Easter lmve Been busy r^°i n w a vi the ® allor9, Friend Society. On Good Triday there was a-sailors' tea in the afternooij, and m the evening a son" E? e was ™ r y'largely attended. The so" loists were Mrs. Henner, the Misses'Fontel"etaii<i Teyenne,' M&srs. Boyd, Iceland Badden Mr. Moore, missioner,'presided, and Mr. Badden spoke feelingly of the day's mercies. Easter Day saw splendid results in large attendances. Mr Moore preached on "Who Holds the Keys" and Ihey shall Hear His Voice." the mS. tek , en . b y 'Messrs. Baker and lienner. The choir was augmented for the occasion 'T>y_thc kindness of Madame a? Tv Childs was at the organ. vav service, where-there was a fu l attendance, opportunity was takijn to 1 bid farewill to two workers Messrs. Ciimmmgs and Galloway, wlii leave for the front shortly. 'Mr.'Moore in speaking of the work .done by the former for 17 years in the mission, said thrit all over the world there were men who were .thankful for the denial shown by him, awl hewished him God-speed and a sa \s Mrs. Jtenner then pang "God will Take Care of You," and Mts. Moore, in the name of the workers, presented them with choice pocket Testaments. The singing of "God be With You" closed the proceedings. On Easter Monday an all-day picnic was field m tlie Institute, where all kinds of games were entered into by the large number of seamen present, and photos, of thepicnic party were taken. In the evening an excellent concert'was provided by Mr and Mrs. Colpus and party. Refreshments were handed round, and the. prizes won during the day were presented by J[rs. Colpus. Hearty, thanks were given to the performers and to all who assisted in making tbo Easter .season such a success. The prize-winners were Messrs. Wermari Robertson, Olson. Wright. 'Gowing, Belling, Brooksby, Walton. Fib.natrick, TJI- - kutt, .Rover. Haapanen, Hickey, and Suttoljng. Musical items were, rendered by Misses Anson. Casey, Armstrong, and Power, Messrs. Power, Boyd, Jenkins, Cogdale, and Hover (Celtic Glen), 'Suttoling- (Cumberland). Miss Anson presided at the piano. .
