Messrs, Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report having held their annual autumn cattle fair in the Eketahuna. s-aleyards, on Thursday. The sale. was a record one for that district. The yarding was nuido up of exceptionally well-bred cattle, and exceeded the number advertised by 150. Bidding was animated throughout the whole sale, every pen, with the exception of four, finding purchasers at highly satisfactory prices '.to .the vendors. We quote as follows :—On account of 3tr. fl. W. Bridge, 31 2 to 21-year well-bred Polled Angus steers, £3 195.-6 d.; 16 18-month Polled Angus steers, £7 25.; 13 18-month Polled Angus heifers, £4 2s. 6d.; 10 eow6 with calves at foot, £6 25.; 15 empty cows and .heifers, £7 153. On account of Mir. T. H. Groves, 14 good 2J\Vear Polled Angus steers, £10 12s, 6d.; 8 3i-year bullocks, £13. On account of Mr. 1Y 0. Turner, 12 wello d Ji-ye** Polled Angus bullocks, £13 "•j good 4i-year Shorthorn bullocks, £14 3s. • On. account of Mr. S. Nilsson, 9 fat and forward 5-yeax Shorthorn bullocks, £lo 13s„ being a record price for the yarding. .On account of Mr.,B. Matheson, 8 3-year Polled Angus bullocks, £11 is.; o Polled Angus cows (empty), £8 18s. 6d On account of Mr. A. J. Perrjvl* 2J-year Polled Angus steers, £10 10a. 6d.; 9. weaner steers, £4..
