MISHAP TO A STEAMER
TAIL SHAFT BROKEN. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, April 24. A wireless message received this afternoon' states that the Dongarra, from New York to Auckland, broke her tail shaft in .the Tasman Sea,\ and is proceeding slowly. As she is not'believed to be a twin-screw steamer, it is supposed tliau' tho . engineers have effected temporary tepairs'.
