Mails for Niuo Island close at Auckland this day, at 8.45 a.m. Mails for Australian States close at Bluff, per Wimmera, on Saturday, ApTil 22, at 4 p.m. Mails for Australian States and South Africa close at Auckland, per Weetralla, on Tuesday, April 25, at 4.15 p.m. ■Easter Holidays—On Good Friday, April 21 tho Postal Department will be closed in all its branches.- Mails for dispatch by steamers will close at 8 pm. on the previous evening, and the only dispatches of correspondence by trains will-close on Good Friday -as follow—For the Wairarapa, Hawko's Bay, Manawatu, Eangitikei, Wanganui, and Taranaki districts at 5.45 a.m.; for Auckland and Auckland district at 8 a.m. The city and suburban receivers will not be cleared during; the day, but the midnight clearances will be made as usual. There will not be any deliveries by letter-carriers on Good Friday, but on Thursday, April 20. tho Carriers' Department (upstairs from Fcatherston Street) will be open for the delivery of correspondence addressed tu streets in the city and suburbs from 8 to 9 p.m.; -also tho public couuter for the delivery of. correspondence addressed to the Post Office will bo open from 8 to 9 p.m. The parcels delivery counter will be open from 8 to 9 p.m April 19, 1916.
