/ON MAIN TRUNK LINE 1 'FIFTEEN WAGONS SPLINTERED By Telßgroph—Press Association, HamHton, April 18. 'A goods train crashed into a number of standing trucks at Horotiu Station, near Hamilton, lata last night. Fifteen wagons laden with goods were splintered and the engine was buried boneatli tho debris. The driver, Bates,- , and the fireman, Hardcastle, both escaped inTHROUGH EXPRESSES HELD UP. ' PASSENGERS TRANSFERRED. ' Auckland, April 18. In consequence of the railway mishap at Horotiu, near Hauiilton,i tlio through expresses were unable to <pass'on the damaged line. .The passengers were ' transferred to the Wellington express, .passengers arriving here four hours late.
