The illfeeling hetweon the Turks and German E would probably have led to a (crisis but for the internecine feuds between the Turks themselves. Open.rivalry exists between Talaat Bey and Euver Pasha. The former for the moment reigns supreme m Constantinople. A new plot against Enver Pasha's life • was re" cently discovered by the Germans, and twenty were arrested and executed.
