ASSESSMENT COURT
■Tho sitting of the Assessment Court concluded on Saturday morning. Mr. W. G. Biddell, S.M., presided, and tho assessors wen* Messrs. H. E. Leighton (for tho Department) and A. L. Wilson (for tlio Miramar Borotgh Council). Mr. T. Nenvo put forward an objec> tion by the Miramar Building and Investment Company to tho assessment of the unimproved value of Jiino sections at Miramar.
After hearing considerable argument and cvidonco, tho Court decided to malto sliglit alterations, except in one in. stance whore the difference was considered negligible. The diltcrenco in favour of the objector amounted to £104.
