GREYTOWN NOTES
the annual meeting of the Grevtown Town Lands- Trust was held on Friday evening. TJie report and balance-sheet wcro adopted. Tho latter showed receipts =£329 Gs. Sd., and .£lB4 lis. lOd. was brought forward, making a total of £ril3 18s. Grants during the year were made to the Grey town District High School, .£SO; Publiu Library, £20; Recreation Reserve, £10; Fire Brigade, 4101 and Patriotic Fund, .£SO. After paying current expenses a sum of ,£271 4s.' 9d. was carried forward. The assota are set down as .£llls. Messrs. Mark Maxton and ,T. S. Kent Johnston were reelected auditors. < A social was tendered to Mr. Grundv and tho Rev. Mr. Stowell on Saturday evening. The latter is leaving tho district and the former is taking charge of the Presbyterian body in this district.
