ANZAC DAY
A PRIME MINISTER'S MESSAGE TO RACING CLUBS. ■ The Prime Minister hopes that no raco meetings or other public amusements of the kind will bo hold on Anzao Day, April 25. Referring lo ill© subject yesterday, he said: "1 trust that any oilier Racing Clubs which intended to'hold-races on Anzac Day will follow the good example of tho Canterbury Jockey Club, and postpone i,hem ; in view of tho celebrations, pi'itly religious and partly patriotic, which are lo be held on that day, and on account of the sacred associations connected with the date."
