GIRLS AT FOOTBALL
AT ATHLETIC PARK TO-DAY. : This afternoon, a I Newtown Park,, will be witnessed a comic episode in the natUro of a "football match botweeii a team of ladies' organised for the New Zealand Natives' Association by Mrs A. M'Vicar, and a team of "gentlemen in khaki", from Trcntham clad in particularly obstructive' hobble skirts, the object of the association being to raise funds for its work among wounded soldiers. The names of the ladiea' team are as follow: —A. M'Vicar (captain), Elsie Sinclair, Eleanor Hampton, Flora Windsor, Nell Furniss, Floss Meier, Annie, Pye, Mary Cottle, Florence Futter, Alioo Futter, Nina Medley, Irene Donovan, Adela Welsh, Mavis White, Dorothy Halliburton, Doris Hurrell, Tho football to be used liaß been autographed by all the ladies, and is to be presented to Lieutenant-Colonel Potter, Trentliam Camp Commandant, by the soldiers taking part in the game.
