White, £23 lis.- Cd., costs £2 145.; N.Z. News Co., Ltd., v. H. Smith, £9 4s. 10d., costs £1 3s. 6d.; Sargood, Sou, and Ewen, Ltd., v. F. Kerwan, £7 18s. 10d.. costs £1 4s. 6d.; E. Moyes v. Dr. T. Cahill, £1 165., costs 55.; Frcdk. Stearns and Co. v. G. T. Willis, £26 Us. 6d., : costs £2 145.; Harold W. Brown v. Tbos. Harvie, £21 155., costs £3 Is.; Commercial Agency, Ltd., and Briscoe and Co., Ltd., v< George W. Terry, £43 14s. 10d., costs £3; E. I. Proud v. James Jamicsou Scott, £2 2s. 6d., costs 10s.; Phoenix Aerated Co. v. Frank Dakin, £19 lis. <id., costs 15s. JUDGMENT SUMMONSES. Judgment summons cases were dealt with as follow:—W. M'Gavin was ordered to pay to F. Allen the sum of £9 '12s. 6d. by May 31, or undergo nine days' imprisonment; John Hoperc Wharewito Uru was ordered to pay to llabcra Mnriwai Uru tlio sum of £34 19s. 7d. by monthly instalments of £3 ; G. Hoggard was ordered to pay to the D.I.C. tho sum of £2 3s. by May 1, or undergo three days' imprisonment; H. M. Mullins was ordered to pay to Walker and Hall the sum of £8 3s. by May 31, or -undergo eight days' imprisonment,; A. Styles was ordered to pay to Voitch and Allan tho sum of £S 19s. 3d. by May 31, or. undergo eight days' imprisonment. BREACH OF AWARD. .In the case of the Inspector of Awards (Win. Slaughter) v. E. M. Pago, proprietor of tho Grand Hotol, a elajm for a £10 penalty for breach of the hotel workers' award (the six-day week), judgment was given for the plaintiff for £2. POLICE CASES. William Hughes, on two charges of theft, was remanded until Monday next in order that inquiry might be made as to his previous character. Augusta Ann Davidson was convicted 'of importuning and of. committing an indecent act in Foresters' .Lane. She was sent to gaol for one month. Charles Augustus Tomlinson, who' committed an indecent net while drunk, was fined sums totalling £4, the alternative being a month's'' imprisonment. John Carolon, charged with drunkenness and indecency, was fined £2, the alternative in his case being fourteen days' imprisonment. JUVENILE COURT. Two boys, 13 years of ago, appeared in tho Juvenile Court yesterday on charges of stealing sums of money from an establishment, where ono of them was employed. Both lads-wore severely admonished by tlic Magistrate, and ordered to receive twelve strokes.of tho birch. Thoy were further ordered to report once a week to the Probation Officer.
