BURLESQUE FOOTBALL

The ladies engaged in the burlesque football match to be played to-morrow have been putting in good practices tbas week. The hall that is to bo used on this occasion has been autographed by tho members of the team, and is to be presented to Lieut.-Colonel Totter, Camp Commnndant, on behalf of the men at Trenthani. The Challenge Cup, which was presented by Mr. B. Turnbull, is now on view in Messrs. George, and George a windows in Cuba Street. Mr. H. A,M'Kenzie has presented a trophy to the lady who brings the first soldier down. The soldiers at Treutliam are taking a keen interest in the match. Mrs. Annie M'Vicar' has been elected captain of the ladies' team. Dr. Platts-Mills will be onthe field with several nurses, to render first aid if necessary. : .
