THE PETONE DISPUTE
TERMS ALMOST ACCEPTABLE.
The Prime Minister said yesterday that he had been advised: that the Wellington Woollen Compaiiy had received a letter from the secretary of the union which stated that while the broad terms of,the company' 6 offer were satisfactory to the union, there were certain details which were necessary for the smooth working of tho ; ,mills in future which it would be necessary to arrange. The union request that for this purpose another conference should be held, and .next. Monday is suggested as a suitable date for the conference,. '
