ORIENTAL FOOTBALL CLUB

ANNUAL MEETING. The annual general meeting of members of'the Oriental Football dub was held last night, Mr. AV. H. Nimmo presiding; The annual report and the balance-sheet were adopted. . The report stated that members had made- a splendid response to the call to arms, no. fewer than 83 playing members, two life members, and upwards of 100 honorarymembers having gono to serve tho Empire. The following members had been killed in action or hafl died of wounds':' Messrs. S. Chapman, AV. Skiltonj W. J. Findlay. 11. Pyle. P. Kelly, P. Wilson, -H. Newton, C. lothill, J. Hardy, and F. Do Rose. The, following members had been reported wounded:—Messrs. J. B. Watson, F. Bennett, P. O'Connor, A. Richards, G. King, H. King, V. Neels, A. C. Bowman. J. O'Connor, W. Ellis, T. Anderson, T. N. Rowe, G. A. Pearce, J. 'Murphy, AV. AVatson, and J. Dodunski, The D.C.M. had- ben won by a well-known forward,- Mr. J. Hills, who had been a' members of the club for some years. . Twenty-five new members were elected to help in filling the gaps caused by recruiting. Officers for tho ensuing yah*- were elected as follow:—President, Mr. Edgar AVylie; vic-presidents, Messrs. T.
