The High Commissioners are issuing tickets to Anglo-Australians and An-glo-New Zealanders, who will fill the rest of Abbey. A simple, impressive memorial service has been arranged, lasting half anTiour. There will be no sermon. • THE DAY IN SYDNEY. , ' CAMPAIGN FOR £100,000. (Rec. 'April 12, 9.40 p.m.) Sydney, April 11. i Great preparations are in train for the observanco of Anzac Day. Mr. W. A. Holman (State Premier), as presf« dent of the Executive, appeals for subscriptions towards a fund of £100,000, which now is required for erecting an Anzac memorial building intended as a permanent homo for men who had fought and bled in the great struggle for human liberty. It is hoped to have £30,000 in hand by the morning of Anzac Day, and raise the balance from the day's_ subscriptions. The afternoon and evening will be devoted to a gigantic recruiting effort, by which it is hoped to add £5000 for the Expeditionary Forces.
