SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
At the Sailors' Friend Society last night an excellent programme was presented by tho Purple Courtiers, under the direction of Jlr. Peek. Inference to the total abstinence question was made by the Missioner (Jlr. Moore). A successful evening was brought to a close by a vote of thanks to the performers, which was moved by Mr. Blow and responded to by Mr. '■ Peek. The following rendered items: Misses Chapman and Senzini, Messrs. Bryant, Bees, Peek, and M'Keon'j Miss M'Keon presided at the piano-
