—4 SERIOUS SHORTAGES. The following are the latest recruits who have been enrolled at Buckle Street as fit for aotive service:— Arthur James Boyd, bushfeller, City (Infantry). James Rutherford, farmer, AYaikato (Infantry). Frad. Don Armour," telegraphist, City (Infantry). F. H. Moore, manager, Now Plymouth (Infantry). fhos. Burchell, fireman, City (Infantry). / Joseph Donnelly, cook, City (lifantry). AA'ellington City is still short of mon for the 15th Reinforcements, and the Dominion position respecting tho draft is:—Auckland Military- District, 77 nhort j Wellington Military District, 231 short; Canterbury, 101 short; Otago, 59 short; total, 479. All tho shortages aro for the infantry arm. At Pahautanui this evening, Dr. A. K. Newman, M.P., and Messrs. E. Hadfield and R'. R. Martin, jun., will address a meeting of residents oiv the subject of recruiting. ' •
