TO-NIGHT'S ORGAN RECITAL

Many items upon to-night's organ recital programme are repeated by request. Mr. Page will • perform a work new to these series in "The Flower Maidens' Valse Song," from- the second act of. "Parsifal," by Wagner. The public have been given a great deal pf this beautiful opera at the city organist's recitals, and music-lovers are becoming well and favourably acquainted with the work. The "Vals'e Song"- is wonderfully constructed chorally, and it is written for soprano voices only—at times it is sirag by a dozen separate groups. . The other items include the "Sonata in D Minor" (Paulkes), "Pastoral" (Cesar Franck), three works by Debussy, "Romance" (John Ireland), and the variations upon a theme of Handel, .by Karg-Elert. A recital will 'be given on Good Friday evening by Mr. Page (city organist).
