HUGE RIOTS
IN GERMAN-HELD RUSSIAN TOWS. Br Telecraph—Pro£« Association—Oopyrißlit Petrograd, April 6. There have been serious food riots in a number of Russian towns occupied by Germans. At Vikomir the mob plundered ,'tlie. shops without success, and then marched to German headquarters, clamouring for food. The people were informed _that there was no help for the population. A street battle between the mob and patrols resulted in many people being killed or injured.
